We only work with fresh stock. Specialty coffees need to have minimal defects so we select only those scoring 87pts or higher. And finally, our PENG EDITIONS are the finest specialty coffees we have to offer and all score at least 90pts.
We focus on the more interesting processes. From naturals to fermented coffees — you’ll find it all here. Similar to the wine industry, but even more complex due to the roasting and brewing required after the speciality coffee is imported.
All coffees are omni-roasted to allow the coffee to brew perfectly on all devices: V60, cafetiere or espresso machine — you only need to adjust your brew recipe. Our real job is to affect the coffee the least.
Our farmers are paid more than Fairtrade — we’re talking around 3 times more. We work hard to improve transparency too; eventually you might even be able to send the farmer a tip.
We own the whole process and supply only our own customers, like you. Only from this website and our own specialty coffee lab in London — we don’t sell to anyone else.
So without a middle man, this means we can maintain higher standards, and offer you a higher standard of specialty coffee.
In fact, when you visit our London coffee lab, you’ll be able to sample all our speciality coffees, and coffees that you’re unlikely to find served in any other shop including a freezer full of rarities.
Serving the best, most interesting speciality coffees in existence is our raison d’etre.
