Orders are normally processed within 2 working days of the order payment confirmation and are shipped via Royal Mail (couriers may be used for larger orders). In most instances deliveries will be received within 3-5 working days, however can take up to 28 days if you are outside of the United Kingdom.

Order confirmation and dispatch emails will be sent as and when orders are processed. For further information on delivery status please contact us.

United Kingdom (UK)

UK orders are charged dependant on the size and weight of your order. These range from £2.47 upwards.

Orders above £30 and subscriptions to “The Narrative” are free of delivery charge.


Countries within the European Union (EU) are charged £5 or over dependant on weight.

Availability and delivery costs of international orders outside of the EU will be dependant on destination. Please contact us for further information.

Please note orders that fail to be received due to an invalid address will not be refunded or reshipped.

Import Charges

If Goods are being shipped outside the United Kingdom deliveries may be subject to import duties and taxes once the Goods reach their destination. Long & Short is not responsible for these charges. You the customer are advised to contact local customs authorities for further details on costs and procedures. Please also be aware deliveries may be subject to customs border inspections and therefore we cannot guarantee packaging will be free from signs of tampering.

Returns & Exchanges

If for any reason you would like to return anything bought in the online shop, you are welcome to do so within 28 days of delivery receipt.

Please contact us and let us know of your return so we can provide further instructions.

You are responsible for paying return delivery costs, and ensuring the goods arrive back with us safely.

We do not offer an exchange service.  Instead, simply return the Goods and place a new order.

Goods must be returned in their original condition with packaging and documentation (where applicable). Upon receipt of the returned Goods, the price of the Goods paid by you, less transactional fees (these fees do not get returned to us), will be refunded to you via the payment method used by you upon purchasing the Goods. Refunds will be processed within 4 weeks of the Goods being returned — but usually sooner.
