All of our coffees are qualitatively fantastic since they have scores of 87/100 or higher.  We’ll send you a bag of coffee according to a schedule of your choosing. Just put your feet up, sit back, relax — you’ll always receive the best coffee.

And regardless of which lot is sent — even if it’s a Geisha, Sudan Rume, Cup of Excellence — you will pay the same price each time.

Exclusive access to 90+ scoring coffee

Periodically, you will be sent exclusive or early access rare coffees like 90+ competition microlots, Geishas or other rare varietals, anaerobics and everything in between, including our elite PENG EDITIONS.  The Narrative rewards loyalty – for no extra cost.

Early bird catches the worm

We are still a micro-roastery, and due to the scarce nature of the surprise lots, subscriptions will be limited. Membership will eventually be closed once full.

The best coffee subscription has to have a limitation and the size of membership is the one and only thing limited here.

If, for any reason, you find yourself at odds with a bag that’s been sent, just ping us an email and we’ll get you hooked up with a replacement bag. No quibbles. No charge.*

How it works

Choose your subscription frequency and checkout, then it’s a fixed price of £13 per delivery**. The cost of delivery is included. There is normally a £10 sign-up fee, however the subscription is currently on offer excluding this for a limited time only.

Membership to The Narrative is included whilst the subscription is active. No matter how high the value is of these surprise coffees — including Geishas and other rare varietals that can cost upwards of £40 per bag — the subscription fee doesn’t change.

After ordering, we will send a coffee package according to the schedule chosen, until cancelled.

You’re able to cancel or change your subscription frequency at any time by logging in to your account at the top of this page. There is no contract or obligation to remain subscribed.

Since we focus more on quality, and less on sheer variety, we tend to keep 3-4 lots in rotation, every few months or so. For example, you probably won’t be receiving a different coffee every single week. However, as the harvest and seasons change, your subscription will evolve in harmony with our roastery.

Just give us a shout if there’s anything that you’re particular about. We will do whatever we can to accommodate your requirements.
