With the weather finally appearing to be on the turn here in London, cold brew speciality coffee is back on the horizon after its booming success in recent years. Mostly, folks have been limited to purchasing the good stuff either bottled or from classy coffee joints who have it on tap; a few have the Hario or similar devices at home.
KitchenAid have recently decided to join the party, but take things a step further by offering a larger brewing device for up to 14 servings, accompanied with a tap, with the whole thing sitting on a shelf in your fridge.
Sounds good, right? We’ll have to see whether it’ll land on these shores, since some of the other KitchenAid coffee kit struggled to make it across the pond. (With the exception of some grey imports.)
We’re hoping to put out a batch of specialty coffee in time for the summer that will be perfect for making your own cold brew at home, so this could be timely indeed!
